Shiba Inu Puppies – General Characteristics

The Shiba Inu Puppies are just adorable! This race is pretty much the smallest dog of the Japanese culture and it was developed to detect small prey in bushes. Is an old breed that comes from South Asia, some say dates back 7000 years before Christ. In some parts of the world they have been excavated, resulting in the discovery of remains of dogs dating from 500 BC.

Within the many dogs from Japan, the Shiba Inu Puppies are the smallest of them. It has a well-chiseled face with the triangular shaped ears, small, pointed. Despite the massive size, these dogs are muscular and are always carrying their tail totally curled over their back. The snout is pointed with a black nose and their eyes are dark and small, with a high collar, strong, without dewlap.

Fur

There are two types of thick fur. Their pelage is long on tail and hind legs.

Temperament

Shiba Inu Puppies are usually a good watchdog, but it has an independent personality which can be sometimes difficult to train. Since they are puppies, they can get to make more damage even if you feel part of the family. It can be quite stubborn and bark but is given the proper training.

Care

You can properly take care of Shiba Inu puppies as they have several facilities at the time of care, yet, you need to regularly brush your dog to remove dead hairs, and luckily that is pretty much it.  You should not bathe your puppy often because he or she may lose the quality of the coat and is best left to a professional, especially when making a small cut.

Training

It is relatively easy to train Shiba Inu Puppies because it is a very intelligent dog, but also, it can be stubborn and dominant, so a firm hand is never over. The basic obedience commands should begin at an early age as he decides which orders to obey and which not.

Activity

It is better to keep your dog active and not in confined spaces, preferably with the family for good mental and physical stimulation. Although it can be with regular walking is also better to have an average size yard where your Shiba Inu Puppies can play.

Longevity

It ranges from 12 to 15 years so take care of your beautiful dog or else you may end up missing him or her!
